3.2.1. Environmental and Sustainability Engineering

Our graduate specialty in Environmental and Sustainability Engineering is a unique, broad based program

that links theory with engineering design for environmental protection and sustainable infrastructure systems.

The program provides an education for both traditional students and working professionals. Conveniently lo-

cated in downtown Denver, we offer many evening courses for professionals across the Front Range, while
also conducting world-leading research on urban infrastructure with cities in Colorado, nationally, and

globally.

Within this specialty, we offer three degrees:

Master of Science (MS) in Environmental and Sustainability Engineering

Master of Engineering (MEng) in Sustainable Infrastructure

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Systems
